Mr & Mrs Bite escaped to Lanzarote for emergency sunshine therapy and returned to an inbox that could qualify as an endurance sport. Here’s your catch‑up nibble so you’re not left out in the cold.
🎉 Pizza Geeks Turn 10
A whole decade of geekery, dough wizardry and general heroism. We salute them.
Reservations
Liz, Cate and Mrs B are off to Eleven Fifty Five in Glasgow for a little Finnieston flirtation.
Mrs Bite and Simone are heading to the 'Botanics' to preview the refreshed Garden View Deck & Bar with Maison Pommery & Associés — bubbles at the 'Botanics' feels like a personality test we’d all pass.
And yes, The Great Grog Wine Fair is this Saturday. Hydration, but make it cultured.
Where We Sipped & Savoured
Mrs B & Kerry visited Cold Town House to admire the new retractable roof — a very glamorous way to avoid Scottish weather.
Cate checked out Eleven Fifty Five, Peter McKenna’s new Finnieston bistro.
Book corner: Fiona reviewed Land, Sea & Hills and Liz popped into the brand‑new Cookbook Shop (dangerous for anyone with a weakness for glossy pages and good intentions).
Bite reader Rosie sent in a lovely review of Ciccetta’s in Bruntsfield — thank you, Rosie.
Cate also visited Skillet in Glasgow.
Liz went to Wahaca for an Easter chocolate collab running all April (we approve of long‑form chocolate).
Mrs Bite wandered over to Clarets in St Andrews.

Spring Issue
Our Spring issue has officially flown the nest. Find your nearest stockist here and go forth. We are working on the finishing touches to our Summer Issue.
Spring Wine Deals
Wine season is stretching its limbs:
Great Grog Spring Wine Fair — exclusive Bite reader offers (but only a few left, so hop to it).
Edinburgh Uncorked 2026 with Joe Wadsack — back at the Assembly Rooms, and again only a pair of tickets remain.
