  • Mrs B & Kerry visited Cold Town House to admire the new retractable roof — a very glamorous way to avoid Scottish weather.

  • Cate checked out Eleven Fifty Five, Peter McKenna’s new Finnieston bistro.

  • Book corner: Fiona reviewed Land, Sea & Hills and Liz popped into the brand‑new Cookbook Shop (dangerous for anyone with a weakness for glossy pages and good intentions).

  • Bite reader Rosie sent in a lovely review of Ciccetta’s in Bruntsfield — thank you, Rosie.

  • Cate also visited Skillet in Glasgow.

  • Liz went to Wahaca for an Easter chocolate collab running all April (we approve of long‑form chocolate).

  • Mrs Bite wandered over to Clarets in St Andrews.
