Edinburgh’s only independent Spring Wine Festival returns to the Assembly Rooms in 2026 with a fresh line‑up of global flavours, engaging workshops, and a very special guest.

Edinburgh Uncorked, hosted by Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson, is a celebration of discovery—bringing together hundreds of wines from across the world, including exciting bottles from lesser‑known regions.

Special Guest

This year, Diana is joined by Joe Wadsack, one of the UK’s most charismatic wine personalities. Known for his wit, warmth, and outspoken style, Joe has been a familiar face on BBC’s Food and Drink with Tom Kerridge, Channel 4’s Richard and Judy, and his own series Great Wine Walks.

With a background in Bordeaux winemaking and years of experience as a buyer and consultant, Joe brings both expertise and entertainment.

Two sessions

12–3pm or 4–7pm—you’ll have the chance to taste, compare, and enjoy every wine showcased.
