On Saturday 21 March, The Edinburgh Academy’s Main Hall transforms into a tasting fairground for the 100 Best Australian Wines Festival, curated by none other than Matthew Jukes—the UK’s most trusted Aussie wine whisperer in collaboration with Wine Events Scotland

This isn’t your average swirl-and-sip. Jukes has spent over two decades spotlighting the best bottles from Down Under, and this year’s line-up is a masterclass in modern Australian winemaking. Expect:


  • Dozens of award-winning wines, from everyday drinkables to prestige pours topping £125

  • A kaleidoscope of styles—sparkling, sweet, elegant whites, delicate Pinot Noirs, and spicy Shiraz

  • Direct access to the experts: chat with wine merchants, importers, and Jukes himself
