Wine Events Scotland is delighted to bring Edinburgh’s first Greek Wine Fair to The Assembly Rooms. It will showcase the brilliance and diversity of wines from Greece.
Join the organizer, Wine Events Scotland, and the producers on June 28 to discover so much more about the world of Greek wine and taste your way around these fascinating wines from sun-drenched Greek Islands.
Greece has one of the longest winemaking and wine appreciation histories in the world. Today there are 180,000 growers and more than 1,200 wineries - this is a country that takes wine seriously.
There will be 32 Greek wineries present, showcasing wines primarily made with indigenous varieties, including Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis, Savatiano, Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Mavrodaphne, Liatiko, and many more.
Sparkling, white, red, and dessert wines, Greece does it all brilliantly – and this is the perfect opportunity to discover them.
