The East Coast seafood restaurant and 'chippy' is re-opening its takeaway service in time for Mother’s Day this weekend (12th-14th March).

Carlo and Katia Crolla from East Coast on North High Street in Musselburgh will be serving up fish and chips, homemade cheesecake and prosecco. Dishes include North Atlantic haddock and cod, twice- cooked chips, and Stornoway black pudding fritters . A kids menu and gluten free options are also available. All just a short walk from Fisherrow Harbour, Musselburgh beach and fresh sea air.

East Coast is the next chapter for the Crolla family, who have been serving the honest folk of Musselburgh from its venue on North High Street since 1974.

Carlo Crolla from East Coast, said: “After two months in lockdown, we can’t wait to get our takeaway back open in time for Mother’s Day which feels the right time for our family to help bring other families together to celebrate with homemade food they love and trust.”

Due to social distancing and other operating restrictions, East Coast’s ‘Click & Collect’ takeaway will offer a reduced menu but continue to serve the local community every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 8pm until further notice. Initially, the service will be ‘Click & Collect’ only with limited spaces for each time slot.

East Coast is also home to a popular Seafood & Grill restaurant, which is due to reopen in the summer as soon as lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

To pre-order your Mother’s Day supper, visit the ‘Click & Collect’ section of the East Coast website or download the new East Coast App https://eastcoastrestaurant.co.uk/order. Walk in orders are not available.
