Condita: a new, organic driven, fine dining experience has opened in Edinburgh

Condita is a very intimate dining experience with just six tables which offers an eightcourse surprise tasting menu that uses produce grown for the restaurant in a 19th century walled kitchen garden in the Scottish Borders alongside the best meat andfish that is available in Scotland. The kitchen also uses a forager for wild ingredients.Dinner is cooked by Conor Toomey who has previously worked as Head Chef at thefive star The Isle of Eriska hotel near Oban.

The restaurant has chosen wines that have not been seen in the UK before.These are from small scale producers who work organically or bio-dynamically and they have just been shipped for the first time to the U.K.

As dishes move with the seasons so too does the wine offering and even the décor follows suit. The simple white backdrop of the restaurant is over-laid with décor that changes seasonally, echoing the moods of the landscape outside.


Dinner at Condita has to be pre-booked and is served Tuesday to Saturday.

The eight course dinner is £80.
