The Canon's Gait Craft Beer Bar and Kitchen.

In November 2014, the Canon's Gait was refurbished and rebranded (under the same ownership) as The Canon's Gait Craft Beer Bar and Kitchen.

This is a traditional and popular pub is steeped in history that has been bought up to date by embracing the craft beer trend.
There is a new chef and menu and dishes include mains such as good 'ol fish and chips - very reasonably priced at £8.95. buffalo steak casserole, Crombies sausage and mash, wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil, artichoke and red pepper tagliatelle with basil pesto.

Of particular interest is the Scottish Highland Cheeseboard which we can't wait to try!

We are reviewing soon so watch this space. Food is served from 12 noon-9pm.

Six traditional real ale taps serve a constantly changing range of Scottish real ales from the best craft brewers plus a further 3 regular and 2 guest craft keg beers. There is an extensive range of Scottish bottled beers.

Regular music and quiz nights run Tuesday - Saturday and look our for beer and food pairing nights and meet the brewer events.
