WORK STARTS TO BRING SCOTTS PORT EDGAR MARINA TO LIFE

14/08/2018

Work has now started on the eagerly-anticipated Scotts bar and restaurant at Port Edgar Marina in South Queensferry as one of Scotland’s leading hospitality groups, Buzzworks Holdings, were handed the keys to their new waterside venue earlier this month.

Situated against the stunning backdrop of the Three Bridges and Firth of Forth, Scotts is expected to open its door later this summer and will bring the dynamic group’s unique blend of food, drink, style and service to the East Coast for the first time.

With two award-winning venues already in Ayrshire, Scotts at Port Edgar Marina will feature a relaxed interior, showcasing effortless maritime style, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere synonymous with the Scotts brand.

Scotts at Port Edgar Marina will offer all-day eating and drinking in laid-back surroundings, with an extensive menu featuring a blend of traditional and modern dishes to suit all tastes, the venue will also be open for breakfast, coffee and even just a casual drink.

The bar will also be home to a tempting wine list, classic cocktails and plenty of local artisan gins and craft beers – perfect for enjoying the stunning views whilst relaxing with friends or family.

Kenny Blair, Buzzworks Holdings MD, said: "We were thrilled to pick up the keys to our new venue and begin bringing our vision for our first Scotts in the East to life. We pride ourselves in creating fabulous venues offering delicious food, superb cocktails and outstanding service and what we are planning to create here at Port Edger will certainly not disappoint.

"This is another great step forward in our continued growth strategy as we branch out from the west of Scotland. The venue not only brings a new dining experience to compliment the area, but with over 75 jobs being created, it’s an ideal opportunity to work with a company ranked within The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

"The restaurant will quickly take shape and we look forward to opening our doors in the coming months.”

Buzzworks Holdings manages ten prestigious venues including Elliots in Prestwick, Scotts in Troon and Largs, Lido venues in Prestwick and Troon, The Treehouse in Ayr, The Longhouse in Kilmarnock, The Mill House in Stewarton, The Corner House in Kilwinning and The Coach House in Bridge of Weir
