Stewart's Radical Road wins World's Best

25/09/2015

Congratulations to Stewart Brewing, Edinburgh's local brewery, who have won two awards for their triple-hopped pale ale, Radical Road.

With the number of breweries rapidly growing year on year competition for awards only increases, so Stewart's are very proud to have been awarded  International Beer Challenge Gold Medal Winner and World Beer Award for Best Pale Ale (>5%).

Radical Road (6.4%) is Stewart Brewing's flagship beer and the highest hopped beer in their repertoire, with generous additions of U.S and Polish hops Centennial, Junga and Cascade at five different stages of the brewing process. Magnum is added to give an assertive and distinctive bite, which combines with the beer's pine and grapefruit flavours to make a tantalising hop cocktail.

Radical Road was the first beer Stewart Brewing produced in cans and they have flown off the shelves at the brewery's on-site shop, which also stocks Stewart's full range in bottles and mini kegs. Bottles and cans are also available in independent retailers, such as The Witchery, Great Grog, Vino and Henderson Wines.

Visit the Stewart Brewing shop or go for a tour at 26a Dryden Road, Loanhead. Find more information at www.stewartbrewing.co.uk.
