Gluten-free Afternoon Tea
Gluten-free Afternoon Tea

28/04/2015

As part of Coeliac Awareness week, Travelling Teapot is hosting a pop up afternoon tea in central Edinburgh on Sunday 17 May.  The menu will be completely gluten-free but everyone can enjoy indulging in the delicious savoury and sweet treats.  There will be finger sandwiches, a bite sized tartlet, and scrumptious cakes and biscuits to enjoy, but an afternoon tea would not be complete without scones.

Travelling Teapot use a gluten-free recipe that delivers exceptional tasting scones and with the addition of home made preserves and clotted cream - what is there not to like!
As well as all the mouth-watering food, you can look forward to using genuine vintage china and drinking flavourful loose-leaf tea from our cosily covered teapots.

Want to share in this delightful afternoon tea experience?  Please book through email [email protected] or by phoning 07974 226 722.  The price is £17 per head and includes a minimum donation of 15% to our local Edinburgh Coeliac UK group. There will be two sittings, one at 1.30pm and one at 3.30pm.  Space is limited, so book early to avoid being disappointed.

Hope to see you there!

Travelling Teapot has successfully completed Coeliac UK's catering training course and is happy to discuss concerns about cross contamination and preparation of gluten free food.
The venue is confirmed as Hill Street Design House, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh EH2 3JP, which is between George Street and Queen Street.
